Messages from the quake zone

Our friend Shannon has a Chinese friend named Aroma who lives in the quake zone and who’s been contacting Shannon every few days since the quake with news about her family’s ever-changing situation. Shannon’s put part of the text messages, e-mails, and phone calls on her blog: “My school got 70 little kids from a primary school at the center of the earthquake. Their teachers took these kids to walk 16 hours and finally get here. They haven’t eaten anything for 2 days! I just helped them get enough milk and rice soup. I can’t stop crying…they all lost their parents!”
