Worcestershire cravings

I woke up today craving Worcestershire sauce. I drank two saucer fulls, and then soaked my bagel in it with melted cheese on top. I haven’t thought at all about Worcestershire sauce probably since before we first left for Taiwan. I don’t know if it’s because I’m subconsciously craving certain tastes that we didn’t get in Taiwan, or if I’m just a freak. Either way, it tastes good.

And this is now 21 days in a row with no coffee.

  1. You kids these days are so lucky. When I was a young kid growing up in Taiwan we did not have any Worcestershire sauce. Whenever I craved it we would have to grab some sewer water, mix in mud and add a hand full of salt. Even then we had to pay $6.00 for it!!!

Enjoy your life without coffee. When you visit we will do your best to break your streak.

  2. 21 straight days without coffee and now imbibing Worcestershire sauce? Is there a nexus here?

It’s the lack of coffee, Joel. Deprivation makes you do strange things! ;-)
