The Pacific Academy website is passworded, so I put these here. Of course there are billions more good ones, but here’s some from some of the activities they did, including stuff with AIDS orphans. And of course the wild animals.

wow! how did she get so close to lion cubs and the leopard? was this at a special zoo?
also – weird how some of the village shots look like kibera in nairobi.
It was at some kind of game reserve, I forget what it was called. She could tell you. Kind of makes me wonder if we got ripped off in Uganda… I never got to play with the lions and cheetahs!
The little ‘simbas’ are pretty cute. Maybe we should get one of those kittens…
The littel simbas were accustomed to people because they had been stolen as pups from the wild and someone tried to keep them as pets. The authorities busted them and put them in the reserve, but they can no longer live in the wild. The other animals were wild, and the kids were told they could “walk” fairly near, but DON’T RUN or you’ll be hunted down.:)
Blessings from Grandma and Grampa in Niarara Falls, Canada to our grandchildren and children everywhere. We check the blogs every day. Love to all. I have named your baby kitten “Purr Puss “
