In case you didn’t know, panda bears are Chinese.
This is probably about the cutest thing you will see this week, aside from your own children, and hopefully your spouse. =)
Mei Xiang, a giant panda, has recently given birth. Baby pandas are about the size of a stick of butter (1/900 the parent’s size). Mei Xiang and her baby are at the U.S. National Zoo in isolation so they can bond and so the baby can be protected from infections and stuff during the first crucial days of its life. Zoo personnel do not go into the pen – the pandas are monitored by cameras 24/7.
So, you can see a live video feed of a mommy giant panda bear bonding with her newborn, 24/7. How much cuter can you get??? ps – turn up the sound!
